Our Trampoline Build Service

Over the past three years, Home Flatpack has assembled more than 1,900 trampolines and 340 garden items across nine different brands.

This gives our team extensive experience with a wide range of models, sizes and designs.

Every installation follows our QMS quality checklist, helping ensure each stage of the build is completed correctly and consistently.

Your questions answered.

Can I choose my booking date?

Of course. We’ll ask you to choose a suitable installation date through our booking portal. You can even select a time slot to suit your diary.

Can you take away the boxes?

This is something we’re unable to offer, but your installer will always make sure all packaging is gathered together neatly and left by your bin store or another suitable location.

What if there are missing or damaged parts?

Don’t worry.  It’s rare, but it does happen from time to time.  If you notice anything missing or damaged before your appointment, please contact us and the retailer as soon as possible.  If your installer discovers a missing or damaged part during the build, they’ll let you know straight away and record the details so you know exactly what needs to be requested from the retailer. We can then help arrange a return visit once the replacement parts arrive.

Does my trampoline or garden furniture need to be delivered before you arrive?

Ideally, yes. Your items should be delivered before you book your installation.  We know it can be tempting to book the installation for the same day as delivery, especially when there’s a new trampoline or garden set waiting to be used, but delivery times can change.  Please book your installation for no earlier than the day after delivery so everything is on site before your installer attends.  Where possible, we also ask you to check the number of boxes against your delivery paperwork. A call-out fee may apply if we arrive and are unable to complete the work because parts or boxes are missing.

Do I need to unpack everything?

No.  Please leave that to us. Your installer will unpack everything required for the build and keep the packaging together as they work.  If any boxes are damaged or broken on delivery, please photograph the damage and contact the retailer as soon as possible.

Do I need to pay for the installer’s parking?

Yes. We ask customers to make suitable parking available for the installer while they are on site. Where possible, this should be on your driveway or other private parking.  If a permit is required, please arrange this in advance. Where paid parking applies, the customer is responsible for the parking cost for the duration of the installation. Most areas now use parking apps, so this can usually be arranged or extended easily while the installer is on site.  If parking is likely to be difficult, restricted or some distance from the property, please let your planner know before the installation date so we can plan accordingly.

Do I need to prepare the garden beforehand?

We simply ask that the installation area is clear, accessible and ready for the build.  For trampolines, the ground should be reasonably level and free from obstacles, garden furniture and anything else that may restrict the installation area.  For garden furniture, please make sure there is sufficient clear space to unpack and assemble the items safely.  For hygiene and safety, please also make sure the working area is free from pet waste before your installer arrives.

What happens if the ground or installation area isn’t suitable?

Your installer will assess the proposed location before starting.  If there’s anything that could affect the safe or correct installation of your trampoline or garden furniture, they’ll discuss it with you before proceeding.  In most cases, a suitable alternative position can be agreed, but we’ll never continue with an installation if the conditions would prevent us from completing it safely or to the standard we require.

Do I need to be at home?

Someone over the age of 18 should normally be available when the installer arrives to provide access, confirm the installation location and answer any questions about the booking.  We also need somebody to be available at the end of the appointment to inspect the completed work with the installer.  Please make sure you choose a booking date when somebody will be available to do this.

Will the installer know what I’ve ordered?

Yes. Every installer assigned to your booking has proven assembly experience and is fully briefed on the make, model and details of your installation before attending.

How long will the installation take?

Build times vary depending on the make, model, size and complexity of the item being assembled.  Your quote and booking information will give you an indication, but our priority is always to complete the installation properly rather than rush the build.

What if the weather is bad?

Light rain doesn’t always prevent an installation, but heavy rain, strong winds, waterlogged ground or other unsafe conditions may mean your appointment needs to be rearranged.  Weather and ground conditions can vary considerably from one location to another, so the final decision will always be made by your installer based on the conditions at your property when they attend.  If they believe the work cannot be completed safely or to the standard we require, we’ll rearrange your installation for another suitable date.

Can you dismantle my old trampoline or garden furniture as well?

Yes. Just let us know when requesting your quote and we can include dismantling as part of your booking.  Please note that we are unable to dispose of dismantled trampolines or furniture, but we can leave everything neatly in a suitable location ready for collection or disposal.

Do you install accessories too?

In most cases, yes.  For trampolines, this can include manufacturer-supplied ladders, basketball hoops and other accessories.  For garden furniture, it can include matching benches, tables, parasol bases and other components supplied as part of the set.  Let us know exactly what you’ve ordered when requesting your quote so everything can be agreed in advance.

What happens once the build is finished?

Your installer will carry out the final checks required by our Quality Management System (QMS), make sure the work area is left tidy and confirm that the installation has been completed.

Can I ask the installer to do something extra while they’re here?

This needs to be agreed at the time of the quote request or as soon as possible after.  If additional items are present on the day that were not included in the agreed booking, your installer may be unable to assemble them and reserves the right to leave these items unassembled.  Any additional work agreed directly between the customer and installer, without prior approval from our planning team, falls outside the Home Flatpack booking and is not covered by our workmanship guarantee under any circumstances.  This helps us keep appointments running to schedule and ensures every customer receives the time allocated to their booking.

It’s for a birthday or special occasion.  Can you install it tomorrow?

We’ll always do our best to help with short-notice requests, but next-day availability is very limited.  Our standard appointments are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and we treat every customer’s booking as equally important.  For some installations, our Fast Track Flatpack service may also be available, subject to installer availability. Weekend appointments and selected time slots can also be booked at an additional rate.  Please see our Services page for current options and pricing.
