Sometimes the furniture isn’t the part you’re waiting for. This customer had been ready to treat themselves to a completely new wardrobe setup, but first came the carpet; and the carpet depended on a friend finding time to fit it.
After months of waiting, the new carpet was finally laid and, that very afternoon, our installers arrived to turn the room into the customer’s new dressing room. By the end of the day, the space had gone from freshly carpeted and empty to a fully assembled IKEA PAX wardrobe system designed around exactly how the customer wanted to use it.

Customers can choose the frame sizes, doors, hanging rails, drawers, shelves and internal fittings that suit their room and their storage needs, then personalise the finished wardrobe even further. In this case, the customer added drawers and shelving where they needed them and finished the wardrobes with their own choice of handles.
The result was less like buying a standard flatpack wardrobe and more like creating a storage system specifically for the room. That flexibility is also why PAX wardrobe assembly can vary so much from one installation to the next; every plan, internal layout and finishing choice can be completely different.
