Home Flatpack is committed to conducting business responsibly, ethically and with respect for the people who work with us.

We have zero tolerance for modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour or exploitation within our business or the relationships through which we provide our services.

Our commitment

We believe everyone has the right to work freely, safely and with dignity.

We will not knowingly work with individuals, contractors, suppliers or organisations involved in modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking or other forms of serious exploitation.

Our installer network

Home Flatpack works with independent installers and contractors to provide installation services to customers.

Installers are expected to operate lawfully, professionally and ethically and to comply with the standards and requirements set by Home Flatpack.

Unauthorised substitution or the use of another person to complete work assigned to an approved installer is not permitted.

This helps us maintain visibility over who is completing work on our behalf and reduces the risk of unknown or potentially exploited workers entering our supply chain.

Our suppliers and partners

We expect businesses that work with Home Flatpack to share our commitment to ethical and lawful working practices.

If we became aware of credible concerns about modern slavery, trafficking or exploitation within an organisation we work with, we would investigate those concerns and consider whether the relationship should continue.

Identifying concerns

Modern slavery and exploitation are not always immediately visible.

We encourage anyone working with or representing Home Flatpack to raise concerns if they believe another person may be working under coercion, exploitation or circumstances that cause concern.

Concerns raised in good faith will be taken seriously and handled as appropriately and confidentially as circumstances allow.

Our Quality Management System

Our Quality Management System helps us maintain clearer records of the installers completing work on behalf of Home Flatpack.

Installer identification, approval processes, documented work allocation and completion evidence provide greater visibility over who is representing our business and attending customers' homes.

Responsibility

Responsibility for maintaining appropriate standards ultimately sits with Home Flatpack Ltd.

We will continue to review our processes as the business and installer network develop and will introduce additional controls where appropriate.
