Back in February, we were asked to assemble this Plum Play climbing cube for a customer who wanted the installation handled from start to finish.
It’s a substantial piece of outdoor play equipment, with multiple climbing elements, platforms and access points, so this was never going to be a quick “put a few panels together” job.
The structure was assembled in full, checked as the build progressed and, at the customer’s request, concreted securely into the ground to provide a more permanent installation.
For the homeowner, that meant the finished product was ready to enjoy without having to work through a large set of components, fixings and instructions themselves.
For our installers, it was another good example of why outdoor play equipment needs more than basic DIY ability. Understanding the sequence of the build, making sure the structure remains square and stable, and carrying out the final checks properly all matter.
The result was a substantial garden play structure, securely installed and ready for many years of use.
Sometimes the best installations are the ones where the customer can simply look out into the garden afterwards and think:
“Glad we didn’t try to build that ourselves.”
