An Airbnb host in central London was left facing a fairly unusual problem after a guest checked out and apparently decided to take most of the room with them.
The bed, mattress and bedside units had all disappeared, leaving the property without a usable sleeping space and another booking approaching fast.
With very little time to spare, we stepped in the following day and assembled a temporary replacement bed so the host could keep the apartment operational while a more permanent solution was arranged.
Once the new integrated wall bed arrived, our installers returned to build and securely wall-mount it, transforming the room into a much more flexible space.
The installation was completed, checked and ready well before the next guest arrived, with the keys returned safely to the property’s key safe afterwards.
For the host, it meant avoiding a cancelled booking and keeping the property in service.
For us, it was certainly one of the more unusual examples of why having a reliable installation team available at short notice can make all the difference.
